Several new ear headbands have arrived at Walt Disney World, including Star Wars, The Lion King, Mickey heads, Wilderness Explorers, and even a bedazzled one.
Glitter Mickey Head Loungefly Ear Headband – $46.99
This black ear headband features hard glittery Mickey heads instead of the soft round ears on most ear headbands.
There is no bow on this headband.
The interior of the headband has “teeth” to ensure a proper grip, and the side has the Disney | Loungefly plate.
We found this ear headband in Main Street Cinema at Magic Kingdom.
Star Wars Ear Headband – $36.99
This is another black headband, but it’s Star Wars-themed with “A long time ago” on one ear and “in a galaxy far, far away…” on the other.
Small white stars are splashed across the front and back of the ears.
The Star Wars wordmark is embroidered on the side of the headband, and more stars are scattered about.
This headband was spotted in Star Traders at Magic Kingdom.
The Lion King Ear Headband – $36.99
The Lion King headband consists of brown imitation leather with a large bow in the center. The bow is blue with African symbols and iconography, and tan fringe lines it.
One ear has an image of Simba on an orange background with yellow stitching, and the other has an image of a blue sun—also on an orange background. This ear has blue stitching on the edges.
The interior lining is a yellow velour material to keep it from slipping off. It’s plain on the back of the ears.
We found these in Animal Kingdom at the pin station in Africa.
Bedazzled Ear Headband – $46.99
This classic Minnie ear headband is bedazzled with tiny crystals on the red bow.
There are also tiny crystals on the ears.
The interior lining is red.
These are available in the Emporium shop at Magic Kingdom.
Wilderness Explorers Ear Headband – $36.99
Inspired by Russell from Up, this accessory is pale yellow with brown panels across each ear. The panels feature Wilderness Explorers badges. The icons include a knot, flamingo, paw print, boot, toothbrush, painter’s palette, Grape Soda cap, Yeti, tornado, band-aids, a footprint, and a burger.
The Minnie bow is made of orange fabric tied like Russell’s neckerchief. More badges are on the backs of the ears — a gorilla, globe, hand chopping a watermelon, hourglass, campfire, dinosaur bones, dragonfly, swimming, tiger, open palm, book, and bat. “Explore!” is on one side of the headband, which is lined with blue velour.
