With less than a month to go before the premiere of the new Star Wars series Maul – Shadow Lord, Disney+ has dropped a complete official trailer and episode release schedule for the latest entry in the Star Wars animated universe.
‘Maul – Shadow Lord’ Official Trailer
The series will focus on the now-exiled Darth Maul, who takes on a ronin-esque role and enlists the help of a Twi’lek Jedi to enact revenge on the Empire, which is now hunting him.
The animated Star Wars show was announced back in April 2025 during the 20th anniversary Lucasfilm Animation Panel at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan. Sam Witwer reprises his role as the voice of Maul. Maul – Shadow Lord will premiere on Disney+ on April 6.

Episode Release Schedule & Titles
The Star Wars Instagram account also shared the episode release schedule and their titles, consisting of two episodes a week for five weeks and concluding, fittingly, on Star Wars Day (May 4):
