Crews continue to add details to the upside-down car at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios as part of the ride’s Muppet makeover.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Upside-Down Car

The blue car received flames over the past few weeks before its interior was cleaned and painted black. It appears near completion but crew members are still adding final details.

There are now yellow stars across the hood and down the sides of the car. The stars are unique and sometimes uneven, making them look more like they were hand painted by Muppets.

The paint job is reminiscent of The Electric Mayhem’s bus. The band will be featured in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The iconic guitar outside the ride will get a similar groovy makeover.

We did notice that one tail light on the car appeared to be broken. Hopefully it’s fixed sooner rather than later.

The car’s fresh paint may give us a preview of what the ride vehicles will look like when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster reopens. We already know the super stretch limos will be souped up by Muppet Labs.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open this summer. Guests will still enter G-Force Records on a V.I.P. tour. But this time they’ll be met by various Muppets instead of Aerosmith.
The new pre-show will feature animatronics of Scooter — the studio manager — and penguin audio engineers. Miss Piggy and Kermit will appear on screens. The Electric Mayhem will be at the back of the recording booth.
Guests will head off for The Electric Mayhem’s concert across town, passing scenery and landmarks with a Muppet twist while listening to the band playing iconic hits.
