“Aquatopia ‘Get Soaked’ Version” will be presented from July 2 through September 14, 2026. After that, the attraction will be closed for good beginning September 15.

Back in 2025, The Oriental Land Company announced that they are considering expansion plans for Tokyo DisneySea and specifically the Port Discovery area that would be completed in the next 10 years.

Walt Disney Imagineering concept art showed Port Discovery at the park, minus the opening day attraction, Aquatopia. In the rendering, the Tokyo DisneySea Electric Railway, Tokyo DisneySea Transit Steamer, and Nemo & Friends SeaRider attractions are all visible, confirming that this is that port in the park.

The three-person watercraft travels around the experimental pool, and this is no typical course. You’ll spin around and twirl off in unpredictable directions. Who knows where you’ll end up!
