While Walt Disney World just reopened their Buzz Lightyear ride, Disneyland’s Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is now closed for refurbishment.

The Disneyland website lists no operating hours for the ride through at least Monday, May 25 — the furthest date currently available on the calendar. It closed on Monday, April 13 for refurbishment.
Disney hasn’t announced details of the refurbishment, but we don’t expect it to be as intensive as the Space Ranger Spin update in Florida. While the east coast version of the ride got new vehicles, refreshed scenes, updated targets, and more, the west coast version of the ride is likely going through general maintenance.
