The large 3D Finding Nemo fish figures on the guest buildings of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort have been repainted.
Art of Animation Resort Refurbishment

We saw a crew member in a lift working on one of the fish in mid March. When we returned a month later, we noticed all the figures were looking shiny and new.

None of their color schemes appear different but they have all clearly been freshly repainted.

The fish are held on posts sticking off the exterior walls so they appear to be floating. The walls are also decorated with 3D coral elements and are painted a variety of undersea colors.
The fish repainting appears to be unrelated to mechanical work permits we saw filed for Art of Animation a few weeks ago. The mechanical work is expected for Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Lion King buildings.
