‘Make it Blue!’ Cinderella Castle Tower Repainting Moves to Left Side

Crews continue to focus on the blue roofing of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, moving toward the towers on left side of the castle.

Crew members have been working in the early mornings. On Friday, April 3, we could not make out any visible cranes when we first headed up Main Street U.S.A., but this changed once we reached The Hub.

Work has continued on repainting the towers to the right side, after work started on the forecourt towers earlier this week. They have also worked on the towers that have patterns on them.

The right side of the castle appears mostly finished with the repainting of its towers, though later in the day, multiple cranes were working on the front and this side as well. The brighter shade of blue helps to contrast the new white color, which replaced the 50th anniversary pink tones.

Lastly, a small patch of pink remains for now at the top of the castle, near the balcony from which Tinker Bell makes her descent during Happily Ever After.

For reference, pictured above is the castle in 2019 with its classic color scheme, the castle in 2021 after it was painted for the 50th anniversary, and concept art for the current repaint.
