Window Work at Polynesian Island Tower

Crews have converted a set of doors into large windows at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The work is almost complete, but it is still behind rolling planters.

Since our last update, crews have removed the doors from the space and replaced them with large windows. They were actively working last week, and from what we can see, the project appears largely finished outside.

The new windows are still behind rolling planters. Through the windows, we can see the temporary scrim is still installed inside.

Pictured above is what used to look like. The windows now match the on both sides.

The Island Tower opened in December 2024. Read our review of the resort and if it’s worth visiting.
