Crews continue to convert a set of doors into large windows at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Window Work Continues at Island Tower

Since our last update, crews have removed the doors from the space and replaced them with large windows. Rolling planters still remain in front.

Two crew members stand on top of scaffolding to work on the top of the center window, while two more crew members assist from the ground.

Inside, a temporary wall with a door has been installed over the entire area. Plastic sheets line the top. This remains unchanged from the last time we were here.

Pictured above is what it usually looks like. A cast member confirmed that the doors are being converted to match the windows on the other side.
The Island Tower opened in December 2024. Read our review of the resort and if it’s worth visiting.
