Fans of Ducktales, Kim Possible, and many more classic Disney animated series can enjoy the rare character appearances during the special ticketed event.
Disney Channel Nite Character Appearances

The special Disneyland After Dark event, Disney Channel Nite, provides guests the opportunity to meet a wide variety of costumed characters from the Disney Channel catalogue of animated series. In an Instagram post from D23, the official Disney fan club, we got an official preview of a few rare character appearances for the event and where guests can find them throughout the park.
Darkwing Duck – Toontown

Darkwing Duck is the masked, cape-wearing superhero alter ego of Drake Mallard from the 1991 Disney animated series Darkwing Duck. He is a comedic crimefighter who protects the city of St. Canard, often with more bravado than polish. The character was part of Disney’s early-1990s television animation boom, namely “The Disney Afternoon” TV programming block, similar to other characters throughout this post.
Launchpad McQuack – Toontown

Launchpad McQuack is the big-hearted but accident-prone pilot best known from DuckTales and Darkwing Duck. In DuckTales, he serves Scrooge McDuck, while Darkwing Duck reimagines him as Darkwing’s loyal sidekick. He is known for his optimism, bravery, and near-constant crash landings.
Don Karnage, King Louie, and Baloo – Adventureland

Over in Adventureland, guests can spot a trio of characters from TaleSpin, the Disney TV series that reworked characters from The Jungle Book into an aviation adventure setting. Baloo is the easygoing bear from The Jungle Book, later reimagined in TaleSpin as a bush pilot. King Louie also originates from The Jungle Book, where he is the orangutan king who famously wants to learn the secret of fire. Don Karnage is the flamboyant sky pirate villain of the show.
Fat Cat and Monterey Jack – Toontown

Fat Cat is a criminal mastermind feline villain from Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers. Monterey Jack, by contrast, is one of the heroic Rescue Rangers, an adventurous Australian mouse with a huge appetite for cheese. Both characters come from the Disney animated series centered on Chip and Dale as tiny detectives.
Ron Stoppable – Adventureland

Ron Stoppable is the goofy but lovable best friend and partner of Kim Possible from the Disney Channel series Kim Possible. Though he often acts nervous or awkward, he repeatedly proves himself in dangerous missions. He is also closely associated with his pet naked mole-rat, Rufus.
Experiment 627 – Tomorrowland

Experiment 627 is a villainous genetic creation from the Lilo & Stitch TV series, introduced as one of Jumba’s more dangerous experiments. He was designed to be stronger and more aggressive than Stitch, making him an intentionally unstable rival.
Lilo & Stitch – Tomorrowland

Lilo Pelekai and Stitch are the titular duo of Disney’s 2002 film Lilo & Stitch. Lilo is a lonely but imaginative Hawaiian girl, while Stitch is the alien Experiment 626, a destructive creature who gradually learns the value of family and love.
Angel – Tomorrowland

Angel is Experiment 624 from the Lilo & Stitch TV series, a pink alien counterpart to Stitch. She is known for her siren-like singing ability, which can influence other experiments’ behavior.
Phineas and Ferb – Tomorrowland

Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher are the inventive brothers from the Disney Channel series Phineas and Ferb. Every summer day, they create elaborate projects, inventions, and adventures, usually while their sister Candace tries (unsuccessfully) to expose them. The show became one of Disney Television Animation’s most successful modern comedies.
Perry the Platypus – Tomorrowland

Sticking with Phineas and Ferb, Perry the Platypus is the family pet from the series, though he hides an alter ego as Agent P, a suave secret agent. His double life is one of the show’s core running jokes, especially in his repeated battles with villain Dr. Doofenshmirtz. He became one of the series’ breakout characters thanks to his silent, cool persona.
Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Uncle Scrooge – Toontown

Huey, Dewey, and Louie are Donald Duck’s iconic mischievous nephews, long associated with Disney comics, shorts, and especially DuckTales. Uncle Scrooge, or Scrooge McDuck, is their enormously wealthy great-uncle, famous for his thrift, business success, and treasure-hunting adventures. Together, they are some of the most recognizable figures in Disney’s duck family canon.
