The panels covering the Wossamotta-U windows for several months are now decorated with speech bubble decals. The Toon Lagoon store at Universal Islands of Adventure closed in October.
Wossamotta-U Decals
Since the closure, purple panels have covered the windows but there are no signs of exterior construction. We did see refurbishment work inside the store a year ago.
The new speech bubble decals on the purple panels have funny phrases and some referencing the store’s closure.
- I’ll save you!
- Hokey smokes!
- Closed again?!
- Here we go again!
- Wossamotta with this store!
- Is this the park with all those mountains?
- Look at the forearms on that sailor!
- Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!
Wossamotta-U was a Rocky and Bullwinkle-themed gift shop that sold kids’ apparel and merchandise featuring characters from The Secret Life of Pets, Shrek, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and more.
We don’t know what is in the works for the store. It may be going through maintenance or it could be turned into a brand-new venue.
