After Disney required proof that guests were staying at a Walt Disney World resort prior to boarding buses at Disney Springs, that process has now ended.
The process of checking for resort guest status began last week on March 29 at Disney Springs. Cast Members were checking for proof (via MagicBands or room cards) before the boarding process began. If the guest was not staying at Walt Disney World resort they were denied access.
Cast members have said this strict enforcement was expected to be in place only until Easter Sunday, and now that Easter is over so is the restriction. Guests visiting Disney Springs can use bus transportation to Disney World hotels without needing a reservation once again.

This is not uncommon as the practice has been in place in the past during busy holiday seasons at Walt Disney World. However, it is not in place often and never for extended periods of time.
