After being closed for refurbishment for a few months, Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise has reopened, albeit with some missing fish.

We rode Jungle Cruise on our April 28 visit to the Disneyland Resort. The ride closed February 17 and recently reopened on April 24.

We weren’t able to spot the prominent piranha fish at all in the water like we were usually able to, though cast members said the fish were just “not working today.”

For reference, this is what the piranhas looked like back in 2021. The brown and orange fish could be found in several small groups, making the water surrounding them more turbulent.

Art of the piranha fish are still prevalent on the nearby rockwork of the ride.
