This morning, Disney released the first photo of track installation for the Spider-Man roller coaster at Shanghai Disney Resort.

In the Instagram post by Shanghai Disneyland Resort, we see a quick peek at the newly installed red track for Shanghai Disneyland’s first major Marvel attraction, with the caption “Shanghai Disneyland’s Spider-Man-themed land construction is “on track!”
Spider-Man Land at Shanghai Disney Resort
The new land officially broke ground with a ceremony held on the morning of Monday, May 19, 2025. Leaders from Shanghai Disney Resort and shareholder representatives were there to celebrate the groundbreaking on the new land, which will be located adjacent to Zootopia.
The land is set to feature the park’s first major Marvel-themed attraction — a roller coaster themed to Spider-Man, which was confirmed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024. The land will also include shopping, food and beverages, and entertainment.
While we do not have many details about the attraction, Disney Parks Blog shared the following description after its announcement at D23:
Peter Parker has gotten himself — and us — in a bit of a tight spot. We’re going to follow HIM – at very high speeds – to get us out of trouble.
