No Disney Cruise Line sailing can officially start until the sail away show. On the Disney Adventure, the show is hosted by the Genie in Disney Imagination Garden.

“Let’s Set Sail”

The show occurs on the Garden Stage on the first day of the sailing. Be sure to check the DCL Navigator app for the showtime.

A young guest is chosen to rub the magic lamp, releasing the Genie and opening the show. He welcomes guests before kicking off a dance number set to original music. Mickey and Friends initially appear on screen before joining the Genie onstage.

They’re later joined by other Disney characters, including Elsa, Cinderella, Tiana, Buzz, Woody, Spider-Man, and Ms. Marvel. They represent different experiences on the ship, like the Toy Story pool area and Avengers Assemble! show.

Near the end of the performance, the assistant cruise director joins the characters to countdown to the ship’s sailing.
