A long time ago, at a studio not far from here, Disney introduced Mickey ears and the world has never been the same. New Mickey ears at Disneyland Resort this month include two pairs of Star Wars-inspired ear headbands.

“A Long Time Ago…” Ear Headband – $36.99

This ear headband is made of black simulated leather with a white star pattern. The band has black velour lining.

Embroidered on the right ear is “A long time ago.” On the other ear is “in a galaxy far, far away….”

The Star Wars logo is embroidered on the side of the band.

These ears were in Star Wars Trading Post at Downtown Disney District. They are available at Walt Disney World, too.

Millennium Falcon Light-Up Ears – $29.99

This headband is black plastic with ears inspired by the view out of the Millennium Falcon’s cockpit. On one ear is a trio of TIE Fighters, on the other are X-Wings. Buttons are pictured at the bottom of each ear, representing the Falcon’s dashboard.

The ships are set against transparent plastic with blue hyperspace streaks illuminated when the headband is activated. The Star Wars logo is on the front of the band.

We saw these in World of Disney at Downtown Disney District. They are also available at Walt Disney World.
