Disneyland Paris has shared that a Pizza Planet truck scavenger hunt is coming to Disney Adventure World this summer to get guests excited for Toy Story 5.

Pizza Planet Truck Scavenger Hunt at Disney Adventure World

For Disney Adventure World’s first summer of fun, Walt Disney Imagineers have reimagined the iconic Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story for a scavenger hunt around Worlds of Pixar, one of the park’s themed areas.

Fourteen different trucks will be hidden throughout Worlds of Pixar, including outside, within stores, and on attractions. Each truck is themed to a favorite character or environment from a Pixar film. The scavenger hunt will be part of a larger promotion for Toy Story 5 that will include special food and “other surprises.”

A similar scavenger hunt took place as part of Pixar Fest 2024 at Disneyland Resort. Fifty-plus unique Pizza Planet trucks (all created from the Pizza Planet truck popcorn bucket) were placed around Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney, including on attractions like “it’s a small world” and Indiana Jones Adventure.

The Pizza Planet truck debuted in Toy Story, Pixar’s first feature film, and most prominently features in the Toy Story films. However, Pixar frequently adds the truck as an Easter egg to its other films. While the Pizza Planet truck usually simply appears on a street in the background, sometimes Pixar has to get creative to incorporate it. The truck appears as a wood carving in the witch’s house in Brave, within an Inside Out memory orb, and as an asteroid in The Good Dinosaur.
