The photo op was installed earlier this month outside of the Disney Springs store, Once Upon a Toy.

The doll boxes were placed to the left of the Mr. Potato Head entrance statue, but they have now been removed.

For reference, this is what the photo op used to look like:

The photo op consisted of two life-size doll boxes for Princess Tiana and Princess Rapunzel. Guests could step inside the box and pose as if they were a doll themselves.

When the princess doll boxes were first installed, Disney shared this photo op had a purpose: “To celebrate the 100% plastic-free packaging that Classic Dolls are now using. Not only do the updated boxes avoid the use of over 110,000 pounds of plastic a year, but they’re also made with certified, sustainably sourced paper.”

Plastic-free packaging is currently available for the following Disney characters: Elsa, Anna, Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Merida, Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White, Tiana, and Tinker Bell. More characters are coming later this year.
