The refurbished look of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster guitar design is groovy, but it also has an Easter egg to a famous car from The Muppets. That Easter egg made us curious if it also points to one of the ride’s new songs.
Guitar Design

Fans of The Muppets may have felt nostalgic about the design at the bottom of the guitar with its swirls and stars. Well, that’s because it’s a callback to a special car in the history of The Muppets.

The swirls and stars are a reference to Fozzie’s Studebaker from the 1979 film The Muppet Movie. In fact, the painting itself was done by The Electric Mayhem, which is why it looks so psychedelic and far-out.
A Bear’s Natural Habitat: The Return of Fozzie’s Studebaker at The Studebaker National Museum actually just closed on April 5. The exhibit, which began on September 24, 2025, was the first time the restored Studebaker was shown to the public. It was carefully restored over 18 months by RazorFly Studios.
Potential Song Clue?

As we await the full ride song list on Thursday, April 16, this connection to The Muppet Movie makes us wonder if it’s also a clue to one of the songs. The Electric Mayhem’s only credited song in that soundtrack was “Can You Picture That?” While “Rainbow Connection” was obviously the most beloved hit from that movie, we’re curious if the Studebaker connection isn’t the only thing attaching Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to The Muppet Movie.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets First Song Announced
As announced on April 13, “Song 2” is the first official song on the list. We are presuming this is an Electric Mayhem cover of Blur’s “Song 2.”
“Song 2,” released by Blur in 1997, is a satirical song about the nature of grunge music and has a lot of “woo-hoo” and “yeah, yeah” lyrics. It is, unequivocally, Blur’s most famous and popular song.
Disney said that this song is one that guests will hear as they go through the attraction as it opens. Based on the announcement that they’ll be “pulling back the curtain one track at a time,” we imagine a new song will be released daily until the full announcement on the 16th.
