Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities Closes in Disneyland for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Timeline Shift

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is currently closed for a short refurbishment in preparation for Batuu West’s timeline shift to the original trilogy.

Dok-Ondar’s Going Back in Time

As of today, April 13, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland is closed. With the timeline shift scheduled to officially occur on April 29, it’s likely this brief closure will consist of some prop updates and an inventory refresh.

Currently, all we know about the updates coming to Dok’s store is that he will “change with the times” and offer a different assortment of unique items from Star Wars past.

The shop’s entrance is blocked by a temporary fence. A decal on the door reads:

Will return to Black Spire Outpost SOON!

There’s also a small barrier of props outside the store. There were no visible changes to the props yet.

Galaxy’s Edge Timeline Shift

On April 29, 2026, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland will shift part of the land’s timeline to represent the original trilogy. Characters from the original trilogy will start roaming Batuu alongside Chewbacca and R2-D2, who are already present, and recognizable selections of John Williams’ Star Wars music will also play throughout the land.

Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland recently reopened after a months-long refurbishment, and though the work mostly involved general maintenance, there were minor changes made related to the land’s timeline shift.

The forested outskirts of Black Spire Outpost will continue to represent the Age of Resistance from the sequels, with Rey roaming the Resistance Camp. Ahsoka Tano, The Mandalorian, and Grogu will remain near the marketplace.
