Magic Key holders visiting Disney California Adventure can pick up a free scavenger hunt map celebrating the 25th anniversary of the park, and once completed, can now redeem it for a Soarin’ poster prize.
Magic Key Scavenger Hunt Map
The map is printed on a blue piece of paper and shows an artistic rendition of California Adventure and the various lands within the park. The map’s border features the heads of numerous characters like Baymax, Sadness, Oswald, Ariel, Black Panther, Jack-Jack, and more.
The back of the map is printed with various goals for guests to complete across all the lands in the Disney California Adventure. These include:
- Find Walt’s middle name while shopping on Buena Vista Street
- Find every opening-day attraction: Animation Academy
- Find where Pinocchio is represented in the park
- Find a spot reserved for P. Carter
- Find Buzz Lightyear in Cars Land
- Take a bakery tour
- Find every opening-day attraction: Golden Zephyr
- Find every opening-day attraction: Jumpin’ Jellyfish
- Find Héctor Rivera from Coco at Pixar Pier
- Look for Hans Christian Andersen from your clam-mobile
- Find every opening-day attraction: Grizzly River Run
- Find every opening-day attraction: Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
- Find every opening-day attraction: Soarin’ Over California
- Spot Big Al from Country Bear Jamboree
There is a sheet of corresponding stickers for guests to place on the goals once they complete them. Some of the stickers provide hints for the goals as well.
It’s available for pick-up from Kingswell Shop in Disney California Adventure while supplies last.
There is a limit of one map per Magic Key holder. The Magic Key holder must present a valid Magic Key pass to participate and must be present at the time of redemption.

Magic Key Soarin’ Over California Attraction Poster
From April 7 through April 17, Magic Key holders can present their map to receive the opening-day Soarin’ Over California attraction poster. It will be available for pick-up outside Soarin’ Over California, underneath the watch tower, at these times:
- Weekdays (Monday through Friday) 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
We picked up ours on the first day, April 7.
