The iconic crew of Toy Story, along with some new friends from the upcoming fifth film, can be seen flying American airspace in style thanks to a new livery from Alaska Airlines.
Alaska Airlines has revealed a new Toy Story 5 livery on a Horizon Air aircraft, adding another Disney and Pixar-themed plane to its fleet.
The new aircraft is an Embraer 175 operated by Horizon Air, Alaska Airlines’ regional carrier. The plane, tail number N659QX, has been named “To 45 and Beyond,” a play on Buzz Lightyear’s famous catchphrase and a nod to Horizon Air’s upcoming 45th anniversary.

The colorful livery features Toy Story favorites Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie alongside new characters from Toy Story 5. Those new “Toy meets Tech” characters include Lilypad, Snappy, Atlas, and Smarty Pants.

The design also includes cloud graphics across the fuselage and themed phrases such as “Saddle Up, It’s Takeoff Time!” and “Ready for Takeoff, Partner.” Forky and Karen Beverly appear on the winglets, giving the aircraft additional character details for passengers and plane spotters to look for.

Alaska Airlines unveiled the new aircraft at Portland International Airport for guests and employees.
Horizon Air President and CEO Andy Schneider said the aircraft was a fitting way to celebrate the airline’s history, calling the 45-year milestone “meaningful” and saying the livery was meant to “bring out the kid in all of us.”
Alaska Airlines’ Disney-Themed Aircraft Fleet

The new Toy Story 5 plane joins several other themed aircraft operated by Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, including “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer,” “Mickey’s Toontown Express,” and a previous Toy Story-inspired aircraft, “Friendship and Beyond at the Disneyland Resort.”
Most recently, Alaska Airlines’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge-themed Boeing 737-800 was updated with The Mandalorian and Grogu branding. That aircraft was originally unveiled in 2022 as “Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort.” The black paint job features the Millennium Falcon, TIE fighters, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Disneyland Resort logos, and porgs on the winglets.

The recent update added promotional artwork for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, including a decal near the boarding door with the Mandalorian holding Grogu. The update tied into the new film and the new The Mandalorian and Grogu mission available now on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Toy Story 5
Toy Story 5 will bring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of the toys back for a new story centered on a clash between toys and technology.
In the film, Bonnie’s toys encounter Lilypad, a new tablet device whose arrival threatens to change the way playtime works. The film features returning voices, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie.
Toy Story 5 is scheduled to open exclusively in theaters on June 19, 2026.
