Braille Map Updated at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Includes New Bluey Experiences

With the recent opening of the refurbished Conservation Station area for Bluey offerings at Conservation Station, the braille map has been updated for Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well.

Braille Map Update

The braille map outlines all of the areas around Animal Kingdom. This latest update can be found in the upper righthand section of the map, where the Conservation Station area is.

Conservation Station’s name remains unchanged on the map, as it was unchanged at the park itself. However, Jumping Junction has replaced the former Affection Section part of the map.

Although the map has been updated and the rest of the refurbished area is open, Jumping Junction is still not available for guests. It is delayed until further notice so the animals can continue acclimating to their new environment.

Once this space is fully operational, the experience will be a walkthrough with a path for guests to stay on. The replacement of the Affection Section at Conservation Station, Jumping Junction, brings Australian animals to the area. Unlike the Affection Section, Jumping Junction is not a petting zoo.

We confirmed with cast members on May 26 that it will be “a while” until guests are able to enter the space and use the walking paths to encounter the animals. They have only been in their habitat since Wednesday, May 20. May 25 was the first time the animal keepers got to walk the path.
