Bus Depot Getting Finishing Touches at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

The bus loop at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been almost ready since early May. Now the finishing touches, including benches and touch-up painting, indicate that it should be in operation soon.

We also noticed that several benches were installed inside the depot and covered to protect them from the ongoing painting work. The nearby garbage can was also covered in plastic. From the looks of the painting, it appears the crews were almost done with the majority of their finishing touches.

The new depot sits beneath the Walt Disney World Monorail beam, near the resort roadway and parking lot. The bus stop is part of broader entrance and transportation-area work at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

The bus stop has progressed significantly since earlier updates in April, when crews had added sheathing and themed planks to the station.
