After this information was first shared with WDWNT in February 2026, Disneyland has now announced the official date for the removal of this park hopping rule.
Disneyland Park Hopping Rule Removal
Disneyland will be eliminating the 11 a.m. Park Hopper restriction starting June 9, 2026. With this change, guests with Park Hopper tickets or a Magic Key pass can now move between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure at any time, subject to park availability.
Guests will still need to select a first park for their park reservation, but will not need to tap into that part before park hopping.
