BREAKING: Disneyland Removing 11 AM Park Hopping Rule

For some time now, guests with a valid Park Hopper ticket or a Magic Key pass had been only able to park hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort beginning at 11:00 AM after having visited their first park. Disneyland will now lift that restriction, allowing park hopping at any time.

Park Hopping at Disneyland

With either a valid Park Hopper ticket or a Magic Key pass, guests can visit both parks on the same day, subject to park availability for the date you select.

After making a park reservation, guests must tap into the first park before crossing over to the second park. Previously, guests had to wait until 11:00 AM to do this but that restriction will be lifted soon, allowing guests to park hop at any time, subject to that park’s capacity limitations, operational hours, and closures.

Please check the Park Hours calendar or the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours, as they could change depending on the day and park.

At this time, a park reservation is not required for the second park after visiting the first park; however, reservation requirements are subject to change.

This information was shared with WDWNT during a special Disneyland Resort Business Update event on February 19, 2026. Sadly, no further information was shared at this time, so we do not know exactly when this change will be enacted. We suspect a formal announcement will be made very soon.
