Following previous year traditions, Disneyland Resort is honoring Memorial Day with “Fallen Hero” or “Missing Man” tables at restaurants.

We spotted one such table at Galactic Grill as well as at Carthay Circle Restaurant. The table is set as though someone is about to sit down, with a candle, red rose, and flags for different military branches.

A sign on the table explains the display and the symbolism of each object.

On this Memorial Day, this table is reserved to honor the brave and selfless American military members who have perished on the battlefield, those who were taken prisoner on foreign soil and have not been returned to us, and those who went missing and have not yet found their way back home.

Disneyland also hosted service members and a military flyover as part of LA Fleet Week for Memorial Day.
