Disneyland Snack Carts Go Cashless

Disneyland Resort is following in Walt Disney World’s footsteps as all the outdoor snack carts go cashless.

Cashless Snack Carts

Guests will notice “Cashless Location” signs at the outdoor vending locations, indicating guests must pay with credit card, Disney Gift Card, or mobile payment. Gift cards are available in merchandise stores.

The switch to cashless means the outdoor carts no longer need to have registers with cash drawers and transactions can go a little quicker.

One cast member told us all of Disneyland Park would go cashless in the next few months while another said this is a test for them to go cashless in the future.

Walt Disney World snack carts went cashless last October.
