This summer, Disney Cruise Line will roll out new and refreshed entertainment experiences across the fleet. From Broadway‑style stage spectaculars and high‑energy deck parties to destination‑inspired moments, entertainment takes the spotlight all summer long.
Frozen on the Wonder & Magic
Alaska sailings on the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic will add even more Frozen-inspired offerings. Guests will be able to experience “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” live on the upper deck. This sing-along hosted by Royal Historians and starring Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff comes straight from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The characters guide guests through the story of the first Frozen film with song lyrics displayed on-screen.
The Frozen Sing-Along Celebration anchors a full day of Frozen-themed experiences on select Alaska sailings, including:
- Anna’s Frozen Fun Hunt, a scavenger hunt-style activity designed for families to explore and play together
- Oaken’s Maypole Swirl & Twirl, an atrium dance celebration filled with music and movement for all ages
- A Frozen‑themed dining experience, where you can enjoy traditional Nordic fare with special dishes inspired by the movie
Broadway Star Series on Select Sailings
The Broadway Star Series will take place select Disney Cruise Line voyages, including some Wonder and Magic sailings. The series is curated by the Godmother of the Disney Destiny, Susan Egan, and Adam J. Levy of 10th & Main Productions. It brings a rotating cast of Broadway and West End performers onboard to share live performances and behind-the-scenes stories from the world of theater.
Let’s Set Sail
All Disney Cruise Line ships offer sail-away entertainment but the experience is being updated as Let’s Set Sail rolls out across the fleet this year, becoming the signature sail away deck stage show. Hosted by Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, the celebration welcomes guests aboard with music and characters.
According to the Disney Cruise Line website, Let’s Set Sail is currently offered on the Destiny, Wish, Adventure, Fantasy, and Treasure. Characters may vary by ship.
Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party
After debuting on the Disney Wonder in March, Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party will expand to additional sailings this spring. It launches on select Disney Magic sailings this month.
Set against a spinning virtual color wheel, guests dance along with Mickey Mouse and friends to upbeat twists on iconic Disney songs.
Mickey & Minnie’s Pirates in the Caribbean
Later this year, select Disney Cruise Line sailings will debut an updated Pirate Night experience called Mickey & Minnie’s Pirates in the Caribbean.
Arriving this spring aboard the Disney Wonder and debuting on the Disney Magic following the Alaska season, the experience features lively music, interactive moments, and appearances by favorite Disney characters dressed in their pirate best.
Alongside the festivities, select pirate‑themed activities will continue to evolve by ship and sailing, including the newly updated Match Your Matey, a pirate twist to the classic adult Match Your Mate game. Match Your Matey welcomes friends and groups beyond couples to play.
