GoofyCore Decals Added to CommuniCore Hall Exterior in Preparation for Cool Kids’ Summer

Goofy appears to have wasted no time moving into CommuniCore in advance of his Cool Kids’ Summer special event.

Although the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival continues, Spike's garden in CommuniCore Hall is now closed. Disney is now transform the hall into "GoofyCore" for Cool Kids' Summer.

Only one day after CommuniCore Hall’s closure for updates at EPCOT, we’ve spotted new GoofyCore decals installed on the building’s doors and windows as Disney begins preparing the space for Cool Kids’ Summer.

The new exterior graphics cover several glass doors and windows beneath the CommuniCore Hall marquee. The decals installed across the glass panels feature bright colors, music notes, stars, splatter-style shapes, white-gloved hands, and Goofy’s green hat. Additional “Cool Kids’ Summer” logos appear on the doors themselves.

The most obvious addition is the new, large central panel featuring a portrait of Goofy and reading “GoofyCore” against a multicolored circular backdrop.

The same “GoofyCore” logo is shown on other large decals on the outer edges of the building entrance.

“Cool Kids’ Summer” is on each door in a splotch of blue paint. More colorful paint appears to drip down the windows. There are robotic arms and tubes, inspired by Goofy’s Game Machine.

The installation follows the recent closure of Spike’s Garden inside CommuniCore Hall, which had been operating as part of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

GoofyCore debuted last year and features Goofy leading kids’ activities, games, and dances inside CommuniCore. The offering is scheduled to return with the start of Cool Kids’ Summer on May 26 and continue through September 8, 2026.

Disney recently brought GoofyCore to local schools and announced a $1.3 million investment in education programs.
