Marvel’s ‘VisionQuest’ to Debut on Disney+ This Fall, Expected to Lead Into ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

“VisionQuest,” Marvel Television’s anticipated follow-up to the critically-acclaimed “WandaVision,” will finally come to Disney+ this fall, just ahead of Avengers: Doomsday.

“VisionQuest” will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on October 14. The series is expected to follow the android as he attempts to regain his memories after the events of “WandaVision,” in which he was rebuilt as White Vision.

Star Paul Bettany was on hand to introduce the series, alongside fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and, more importantly, Iron Man-turned-Doctor Doom Robert Downey, Jr., fueling speculation that “VisionQuest” will tie into Avengers: Doomsday, which comes out in December.

The series is another follow-up to “WandaVision,” which explored how Wanda Maximoff channeled her grief over Vision’s demise in Avengers: Infinity War into the “Westview Anomaly,” a magical illusion so powerful that she was able to “resurrect” Vision and create her children, Tommy and Billy Maximoff. The anomaly drew the attention of Agatha Harkness.

Wanda ultimately defeats Harkness to officially become the Scarlet Witch, with her story continuing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Vision is “resurrected” as White Vision, an emotionless rebuild of his original self, who ends up gaining sentience. Meanwhile, Agatha teams up with an unexpected ally in her own spinoff series “Agatha All Along.”
