A new “Mickey’s Park Rangers” sign has appeared on Tom Sawyer Island at Disneyland. We spoke to some cast members, who confirmed the sign is for a new scavenger hunt activity opening soon.

The activity is part of an initiative to celebrate kids, apparently similar to Cool Kids’ Summer at Walt Disney World.
The scavenger hunt will be on Tom Sawyer Island, as well as the park’s boats, including canoes. It may include the Disneyland Railroad, too.
Guests will get stamps as they search and a sticker prize.
The activity is expected to start next Friday or Saturday. We don’t yet know if it will be temporary or permanent.
