For the first time since the changes of leadership at both Disney and Lucasfilm, the new leaders gathered to discuss the future of Star Wars.
New Leadership

Among the leadership present at the meeting were Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro and chairman Alan Bergman, as well as Lucasfilm’s president and CCO Dave Filoni, with co-president Lynwen Brennan.
Of the meeting, Dana Walden, president and CCO of Disney, wrote on Instagram: “Wonderful day at @Lucasfilm! Loved it. And thanks to the brilliant teams at ILM [Industrial Light & Magic] for showing us The Rebel Hideout.”
Berman had similar sentiments in a repost of the same image seen above. He wrote, in part, “Always wonderful to visit with our Lucasfilm team to talk about the many exciting projects in the works.”
Filoni and Brennan took over Lucasfilm from Kathleen Kennedy after an announcement in mid-January. Just a few weeks later, in early February, D’Amaro was named Disney’s newest CEO to start on March 18, and Walden was named president and CCO.
