Original 'Carnation Company' Sign Replaced at Carnation Cafe in Disneyland

After restoring the original ceramic “Carnation Company” sign, Disneyland has replaced it with a “Carnation Cafe” sign.

Carnation Cafe Sign

After restoring the original ceramic "Carnation Company" sign, Disneyland has replaced it with a "Carnation Cafe" sign.

Pictured above is the Carnation Cafe sign that has hung on the side of the building for several years. The Carnation Company sign was from the restaurant’s original incarnation as an ice cream parlor sponsored by Nestlé. It seems the Carnation Cafe sign sits directly on top of the old one, which happened to be exposed for a few weeks.

Above is what the Carnation Company sign looked like.

The sign on the other side of the entrance has also returned and white curtains now hang in the window above the entrance.

The refurbishment of Main Street, U.S.A. facades began in February and continues on Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor.
