The kiddie pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort is now closed and undergoing refurbishment, following its previously announced April closure.

Pop Century Kiddie Pool Refurbishment Update

As previously reported, the kiddie pool deck behind Classic Hall near Hippy Dippy Pool was scheduled to close in mid-April for routine maintenance.

The area is now fully blocked off with green fencing and signage reading “Pardon our pixie dust. This area is closed for refurbishment.” Guests are unable to access the space as work continues.

The shallow kiddie pool itself has been drained and covered with protective material, with the basin appearing wrapped and secured during construction.

Crews were visible working on the pool deck, operating equipment and continuing surface work. A temporary canopy has been set up to provide shade for workers and tools.

The surrounding pavement shows signs of refurbishment, with sections appearing sanded or prepped for resurfacing. Hoses, power tools, and construction materials are spread across the deck area as work progresses.

Despite the closure, the colorful ‘60s-themed buildings, Bowling Pool, Computer Pool, and nearby Hippy Dippy Pool remain open to guests in the surrounding area.

We previously reported on the refurbishment of the nearby “POP” sign outside Classic Hall, which is also still in progress.

Last year, Disney’s Pop Century Resort lobby was remodeled, including a new mural featuring Mickey and Friends. Rooms were also refreshed.
