Sustainable Collectibles Made From Sawdust Now Available at Disney Springs

A new machine at Disney Springs’ Rainforest Cafe has been installed that produces animal figures made from sustainably sourced sawdust. We also saw a similar machine at Animal Kingdom.

The new machine is decorated with an image of Cha! Cha!, the adventurous and brave red-eyed tree frog.

Buttons near the bottom of the machine are available for those who cannot reach the screen to begin the figure creation process. The kiosk does not take cash. Push the door open to retrieve your collectible.

An elephant and lion are available to purchase—both for $7.99 each. Or, you can purchase both and receive a small discount at $13.99. The Animal Kingdom kiosk has a lion and giraffe.

The figures come with a wood base with “Rainforest Cafe” printed on the side. The base is recessed on the top so the figures can fit neatly in the space.

Will you be purchasing these figures? Let us know on social media.
