After first being spotted at the EPCOT and Riviera Resort Disney Skyliner stations, fake dragonflies are also being tested on the boats at Saratoga Springs Resort.

Cast members told us previously that yellow flies are a problem every summer. Commonly found near water, these insects are known for their painful bites that leave itchy welts.

Dragonflies are predators of the insects, and just a fake dragonfly on a wire can deter the yellow flies.

While at the Saratoga Springs Resort dock, we spotted a fake red dragonfly clipped near the ceiling of the boat.

We first noticed that fake dragonflies were being used for the Disney Skyliner a week ago. If found effective, we may find fake dragonflies being used in more locations at Walt Disney World.
