During our visit to the Disneyland Hotel, we checked out the new refurbishment changes at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar

Located outside the Disneyland Hotel and inspired by the Jungle Cruise attraction, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is known for their food and drinks with a tropical twist.

The inside of the bar had been closed since March for refurbishment, but the outdoor patio area remained open during this time. As the refurbishment entered its final phases, the entirety of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, including the outdoor patio area and the adjoining restaurant Tangaroa Terrace, was closed from May 14 to May 20.
As of today, May 26, the refurbishment is now completed.
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar Menu

The menu for Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is designed to look like a brown field notebook. The first page notes that this journal belongs to Dr. Leonard Moss (botanist) with entomological notes contributed by Dr. Kon Chunosuke.

The menu includes many tropical cocktail drink options, including the new 15th anniversary Hyena Mug and Cocktail (Barrel of Mischief). Guests who attended yesterday’s mixology class were the first to have access to this mug.

The menu lists other types of alcoholic beverages they serve, as well as lunch and dinner food options.
Interior Refurbishment

We then headed inside to view the refurbishment changes to the bar.

Though much of the decor remains the same as before, the cast members we talked with said that “everything was refreshed.”

The lighting in particular was updated, with the hanging lamps now featuring more decorative detailing. Every light fixture is uniquely designed and differently shaped from the others.

The windows, which show a tropical landscape “outside,” were described to us as now “sparkling and clear.”

The totem poles supporting the bar’s ceiling also received new red and blue paint. They are now more brightly colored than before.
