Spotlights for Fireworks Spectacular

Spotlights have been installed near the fireworks launch site at Universal Epic Universe, supporting rumors that a fireworks show will debut at the park soon.

Aerial photographer @bioreconstruct shared photos of 12 spotlights being installed along the far end of the lake behind Universal Helios Grand Hotel.

The peninsula cutting into the center of the lake is where fireworks would be launched. Concrete was poured on the peninsula earlier this year.

The spotlights would act as a background for a potential show.

Though Epic Universe opened without a fireworks show, Universal indicated they were still exploring the possibility.

A nighttime fountain show was performed in the park instead, but the fountain was recently drained for electrical updates, presumably related to a new nighttime show.

Universal began hiring fireworks technicians this year.

Early concept art for Epic Universe also included fireworks, and fireworks were tested at the park before opening.

The potential show could be named “Celestial Goodnight,” according to a trademark filing.
