At The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, California, visitors can learn about art preservation during a special one-day presentation.
Preserving Pixie Dust

On Saturday, June 13, at 1 p.m., guests will learn all about art preservation from the team at Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI). The collection team has a behind-the-scenes look at how they preserve the iconic work of artists like Disney Legends Mary Blair or Dorothea Redmond.
The WDI art collection includes over 200,000 hand-rendered or digital artworks that have been preserved. This same team has been hard at work digitizing works with its state-of-the-art heritage scanner as a means of further preserving these works for years to come.
Prices:
- $15 – members
- $30 – non-member adults
- $25 – non-member seniors and students (with ID)
- $20 – non-member youth
