Disney+ subscribers who tuned in last night, May 28, could watch the red carpet launch event for Toy Story 5 on a livestream. But for those who didn’t tune in, it’s now available for rewatch on Disney+.
Toy Story 5 Red Carpet Event

The red carpet launch event, which took place in the UK last night, features cast interviews and special guests in celebration of Toy Story 5. This includes Tim Allen (the voice of Buzz Lightyear) and Tom Hanks (the voice of Woody).
Per the information provided by Disney+:
Disney+ will livestream the UK red carpet event for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, giving UK subscribers an exclusive front‑row view of the celebration from Central London on Thursday 28 May.
The livestream begins at 6:30pm BST, with a full replay available afterwards, and will feature film talent & celebrity arrivals, voice cast interviews with Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Greta Lee, and special surprises. UK cameo voice talent Jordan North and Sian Welby have joined the global voice cast of Toy Story 5, taking on the roles of Garden Gnome and Inflatable Flamingo.
The livestream offers fans behind‑the‑scenes access to one of this year’s biggest film events. Ahead of the cinematic release of Toy Story 5, subscribers can stream all four Toy Story films and the full Pixar catalogue on Disney+.
This rewatch, now available on Disney+, is 42 minutes long and rated TV-PG.
Toy Story 5

Tom Hanks returns as Woody, Tim Allen reports for duty as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack saddles up again as Jessie. It was recently announced that Conan O’Brien will also be a part of the voice cast as the toilet training tech toy, Smarty Pants. We also now know that Alan Cumming will voice evil Bullseye, and Bad Bunny will play Pizza with Sunglasses.
Lilypad is voiced by Greta Lee. Ernie Hudson is taking over as Combat Carl from the late Carl Weathers. Blake Clark is expected to return as Slinky Dog, a role he took over from Jim Varney, who passed away in 2000.
The official film description states, “Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they’re introduced to what kids are obsessed with today….electronics!” Toy Story 5 comes out on June 19, 2026.
