According to circulating reports online, Kidani Village, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is having problems with its HVAC system, and the resort does not have air conditioning.

u/ziriuso posted on Reddit on June 23 that they are staying at the resort and report that the rooms were feeling much warmer than the main areas. At 9:00 p.m., Cast Members confirmed with the guest that the system had been down since that afternoon. There was no estimated time that it would be fixed, but they were assured it was being worked on.

Another update at 10:00 p.m. by the same user says Disney was offering box fans to guests who requested them.

Wilderness Lodge is also still without air conditioning as well. After a week of problems, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge purposefully turned off their air conditioning on Wednesday morning for maintenance.

An air conditioning outage was first reported last Thursday, with guests sharing that the main building of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge became extremely warm in the guest rooms, the lobby, dining areas, and other indoor spaces. The issue is still not resolved.
