According to circulating reports online, Kidani Village, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, had problems with its HVAC system on Tuesday, June 23.

u/ziriuso posted on Reddit on June 23 that they are staying at the resort and report that the rooms were feeling much warmer than the main areas. At 9:00 p.m., Cast Members confirmed with the guest that the system had been down since that afternoon. There was no estimated time for when it would be fixed, but they were assured it was being worked on.

Another update at 10:00 p.m. by the same user says Disney was offering box fans to guests who requested them.

Air conditioning at the resort was fully restored overnight.

Wilderness Lodge is still having air conditioning issues. After a week of problems, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge purposefully turned off their air conditioning on Wednesday morning for maintenance.

An air conditioning outage was first reported last Thursday, with guests sharing that the main building of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge became extremely warm in the guest rooms, the lobby, dining areas, and other indoor spaces. The issue is still not resolved.
