Turning 25 in 2026, Atlantis: The Lost Empire is now forever captured in an exclusive Spirit Jersey. You can only get it online at the Disney Store.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire Spirit Jersey – $84.99

The Spirit Jersey is a dark blue mineral wash with puffy gold “Atlantis” on the chest. Atlantean symbols are on the sleeve.

Like other Spirit Jerseys, it has dropped shoulders and long sleeves. It’s made of a heavyweight knit fabric.

“Disney’s Atlantis The Lost Empire” is in large puffy gold text across the shoulders. At the bottom is the same imagery featured in the animated movie. Milo Thatch, Josua Sweet, Gateon Moliere, Kida, and Vinny Santorini stand in front of the Ulysses. As seen above, it glows in the dark.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

The original Atlantis: The Lost Empire animated film was directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise, with the screenplay written by Tab Murphy. It was released in 2001 and grossed $186 million worldwide, making it somewhat of a box office failure.

Disney even had a roller coaster attraction in development based on the film, but due to the film’s lukewarm reception, plans were ultimately shelved. Over the years, however, the movie gained a cult following thanks to its animation style, which was largely based on the drawings of Mike Mignola, the same artist who created Hellboy. Also created for the film was a unique “Atlantean” language, developed by the man behind Star Trek’s Klingon language, Marc Okrand.
