Exterior refurbishment work appears to be underway on the Plaza Inn at Disneyland, which now has scrim around its back corner.
Plaza Inn Construction Development

A corner of Plaza Inn at Disneyland is now partially hidden behind beige construction scrim.
During a recent visit to Disneyland, new construction scrim could be seen covering a section of the Plaza Inn exterior near the restaurant’s outdoor seating area. The scrim wraps around a side portion of the building near the white lattice fencing bordering the backstage area.

The covered section is located along the side of the restaurant, away from the main entrance. Outdoor tables and chairs remain available nearby.
No project signage was visible in the area, and Disneyland has not announced what work is taking place at this section of Plaza Inn. However, we did notice some active construction noise coming from behind the scrim during our visit.

The visible exterior of Plaza Inn still features its familiar Victorian-style design, including pale pink and cream-colored walls and decorative trim. The new construction covering is limited to one side corner of the building at this time.
Plaza Inn remains open despite the exterior work, though we have noticed other isolated pockets of maintenance at the restaurant in recent weeks.
The restaurant is located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. near the entrance to Tomorrowland and is known for character dining, fried chicken, and classic Disneyland fare.
This update comes alongside more refurbishment work on Main Street, U.S.A. The facades of Carnation Cafe and Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor were also recently refreshed.
