A new survey has been sent out to guests asking them to rate promotions that would entice them the most to book another Disney Cruise Line vacation. The promotions surveyed include free hotel stays, Disney Park tickets, airfare, and more.
Disney Cruise Line Promotion Survey

The survey first explains, “Now, imagine that you received information about a type of promotion that could be used when booking a future Disney Cruise Line vacation. Presume that each of these promotions has an approximate retail value of $500. How appealing is each of the following types of promotion?”
The options provided in the survey are:
- Free Disney Parks Tickets – Receive Disney theme parks admission for each guest, to be used immediately before or after your cruise vacation.
- Free Hotel Stay – Receive 1 hotel night free (e.g., for a hotel near the departure port or at the Walt Disney World Resort), to be used either immediately before or after your cruise vacation.

- Onboard Credit – Receive an onboard credit that may be used during your cruise vacation. Onboard credits are valid toward purchases such as spa treatments, Port Adventures, photos downloads, and specialty dining.
- Bundle & Save on Airfare – Receive money off the purchase of your cruise vacation package when you book air travel through Disney Cruise Line.
- Free Digital Photo Downloads – Receive unlimited downloads of photos taken by onboard photographers during your cruise vacation.

- Free Internet Package – Receive free internet for multiple devices per stateroom during your cruise vacation (for web browsing and social media; upgrade required for streaming).
- Save on Port Excursions – Receive a Port Adventure credit that may be used on Disney-curated excursions during your cruise.
Afterwards, there is a satisfaction scale to rate each option as “Very appealing,” “Somewhat appealing,” “Neither appealing nor unappealing”, “Somewhat unappealing,” and “Not at all appealing.”

In other news, Disney Cruise Line restaurant menus no longer list specialty cocktails and the stateroom door decorating policy has been updated, as well as the alcohol policy. And, the Disney Adventure is implementing a new $5 service charge for room service orders. In addition to this, there will be an 18% auto-gratuity added as well. It will be the first Disney ship to do so.
