This morning, June 16, Disney released both a poster and teaser trailer for the upcoming film Hexed, which comes out November 25, 2026.

The poster shows the main character, Billie, floating among her belongings. She looks confounded, and magic appears to be coming out of her hands.
In the teaser trailer, Billie explains that she has always been an outcast among her peers. That’s when she discovers she has newfound magic powers and can make the things around her levitate. When she’s discovered and subsequently expelled for her antics, Billie must try to figure out what’s going on. That is when she ends up in a magical realm known as the World of Witches with a talking book and quill.

Guests at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival will get a first look at the film on June 26. This Parisian festival runs from June 21-27, 2026, and Disney will be previewing both Gatto and Hexed this year. In 2023, they debuted the Once Upon a Studio short at the festival and last year provided a first look at Toy Story 5.
Hexed stars Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones. Hexed was announced at Destination D23 in 2025, though it seems the premise has changed course slightly, as it was said to star a teen boy but is actually starring a teen girl.
