Disneyland Resort's Manchester Cast Parking Lot Closure Date Announced By Union

Ahead of the forthcoming parking garage being built at Disneyland Resort, the Manchester Cast parking lot is set to close later this month.

According to Workers United Local 50, the lot will be closed starting June 28. Local 50 is a workers’ union to which many Disneyland Cast Members belong. They further noted in a Facebook post that Cast Members can access other commuting options at disneycommuterassistance.com.

In the meantime, Local 50 notes that Cast Members who currently use the Manchester lot can park in the following lots following the June 28 closure:

Katella Cast Member Lot (KCML) will now be available to Cast
Harbor Cast Member Lot (HCML)
Ball Cast Member Lot (BMCL)

As of the time of writing, Disneyland Resort has not announced the closure date.

New Disneyland Resort Parking Garage

Two permits were filed in late December 2025 for the new 3.2 million square foot east parking structure. The structure is part of a DisneylandForward project officially announced in 2025 but teased back in 2023.

The plan is similar to the Eastern Gateway project, which was announced in 2016 but never fully came to fruition. The Pixar Pals parking structure was built in 2019 instead.

Both permits were for 1585 S Manchester Ave, which is currently the Manchester Cast parking lot across Harbor Blvd from the rest of Disneyland Resort. It will become a new entrance to the resort, which will also include a pedestrian bridge to cross Harbor Blvd, leading to a new esplanade arrival experience.

The structure will have 6,000 parking spaces, a dedicated space for shuttles and ride-sharing, security, and dedicated access for traffic off Disney Way.

Team Disney Anaheim Office Demolition

In addition to the closure of the Manchester Cast parking lot for the new garage, a permit was filed in February 2026 for the demolition of the Team Disney Anaheim Office Building as well.

The small office building for Team Disney Anaheim – the administrative and operations arm of Disneyland Resort – currently sits along the southern edge of the Manchester Cast parking lot at Disneyland Resort. This particular building is referred to as offices for Team Disney Anaheim East, a satellite to the main Team Disney Anaheim office, which sits just north of Disneyland Park.
