The next series of LEGO SMART Play sets will be inspired by Pokémon and are now available for pre-order. LEGO SMART Play was introduced this year with interactive Star Wars sets. With SMART Play technology, playsets come to life with special lighting and sound effects.
LEGO SMART Play Pokémon
All the LEGO SMART Play Pokémon sets are available for pre-order now via Pokémon Center and LEGO.com. Sets will also be available to purchase from August 1, 2026, from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and select retailers. Fans can also visit select LEGO Stores in launch markets to experience a LEGO Pokémon SMART Play demo and see the playsets in action.
There are 12 sets total. Two all-in-one sets include SMART Bricks, Tags, and Figures. The rest are compatible with SMART Play although don’t include the tech. There’s also a special gift with purchase available.
Training House with Pikachu (72164) All-in-One set – $69.99
This 400-piece set includes a Pikachu-inspired tree house, training items, a Poké Ball, buildable sandwich, and more. Includes 1 SMART Brick, 4 Tags, Figure and Charger.
Charizard vs. Jolteon Ultimate Battle (72167) All-in-One set – $119.99
This 751-piece set features Charizard and Jolteon in battle. Use the healing spray for support in the battle or have the Pokémon jump into a friendly training session together. Includes 2 SMART Bricks, 4 Tags, 2 Figures and Charger.
Berry Bash with Bulbasaur and Bidoof (72155) compatible set – $19.99
In this 240-piece set set, children can roleplay nurturing their Pokémon. Builders can make berry smoothie in the juicer and feed the snack to Bulbasaur and Bidoof.
Trainer’s Buggy Adventure with Squirtle (72156) compatible set – $29.99
Take Squirtle out for a ride in a beach buggy with this 320-piece set. The vehicle has 2 water stud shooters and a water stud storage compartment for Squirtle and the Trainer to extinguish fires at the veggie grill.
Charmander and Geodude’s Cavern Clash (72157) compatible set – $19.99
Fans can explore a cave of treasures and crystals with Charmander and Geodude in this 198-piece set.
Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly Battle (72158) compatible set – $34.99
This 313-piece set features three Paldean First Partner Pokémon: Grass-type Sprigatito, Fire-type Fuecoco, and Water-type Quaxly. The spinning wheel can help choose your opponent and determine who gets to battle next.
Jigglypuff Concert (72159) compatible set – $14.99
This small 88-piece set features Jigglypuff with microphones, speakers, and a music stage.
Drone Search for Mythical Mew (72161) compatible set – $49.99
This 429-piece set features the Mythical Pokémon Mew. Builders can search for Mew in ancient runes using a Poké Ball inspired drone.
Eevee and Lapras’s Treasure Hunt (72162) compatible set – $59.99
This 623-piece set features LEGO Eevee and Lapras off on a sea adventure to find the map to the shipwreck. Lowering the mast to lift a rock reveals a treasure chest full of coins and gems.
Mewtwo’s Lab Break (72163) compatible set – $69.99
This 605-piece set lets fans create Mewtwo breaking out of its lab tank. The set includes an adjustable lab tank, Mewtwo info screen, rare Master Ball, and Mewtwo figure.
Umbreon vs. Garchomp Championship Battle (72165) compatible set – $79.99
This 831-piece set sees LEGO Umbreon and Garchomp together in a fun championship, battling to win the Poké Ball trophy. A giant Poké Ball is included.
Cubone and Gengar’s Spooky Showdown (72166) compatible set – $89.99
This 782-piece set shows LEGO Cubone trying to defeat Gengar to collect a hidden treasure.

Pokémon Center will have a special gift with purchase. Spend $130 or more on preorder products from the LEGO Pokémon category at Pokémon Center to also get a Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887) LEGO SMART Play Compatible set.

LEGO Store Experiences
To celebrate the launch, select LEGO Stores will transform into Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms, allowing fans to unlock exclusive rewards while supplies last. From August to September 2026, fans will get the chance to unlock exclusive rewards both in-game and in-store, including a LEGO SMART Tag, unique LEGO Pokémon digital backgrounds, LEGO Pokémon stickers, and exclusive branded apparel in the app.
