LEGO SMART Play Pokémon Sets Revealed, Pre-Orders Open

The next series of LEGO SMART Play sets will be inspired by Pokémon and are now available for pre-order. LEGO SMART Play was introduced this year with interactive Star Wars sets. With SMART Play technology, playsets come to life with special lighting and sound effects.

The next series of LEGO SMART Play sets will be inspired by Pokémon and are now available for pre-order.

All the LEGO SMART Play Pokémon sets are available for pre-order now via Pokémon Center and LEGO.com. Sets will also be available to purchase from August 1, 2026, from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and select retailers. Fans can also visit select LEGO Stores in launch markets to experience a LEGO Pokémon SMART Play demo and see the playsets in action.

There are 12 sets total. Two all-in-one sets include SMART Bricks, Tags, and Figures. The rest are compatible with SMART Play although don’t include the tech. There’s also a special gift with purchase available.

LEGO Store Experiences

To celebrate the launch, select LEGO Stores will transform into Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms, allowing fans to unlock exclusive rewards while supplies last. From August to September 2026, fans will get the chance to unlock exclusive rewards both in-game and in-store, including a LEGO SMART Tag, unique LEGO Pokémon digital backgrounds, LEGO Pokémon stickers, and exclusive branded apparel in the app.
