Crews started installing track on the “bunny hop” coaster element of Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift at Universal Studios Florida, as seen in new photos by photographer @bioreconstruct on X.
Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift Construction

The bunny hop is a series of small hills, which guests will “hop” over before heading up the 170-foot spike. Supports were installed a few days ago. The new track is at the beginning of the element.

First, there’s a stretch of flat track, where cars will accelerate. The track then curves upward.

The temporary plywood boxes in the background of the above photos are where a switch track will be. Guests will pass over the switch track after descending the spike.

On the opposite end of the Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift construction zone, bioreconstruct spotted motors on the track near the load station. A yellow arrow points to a motor in the picture above. The track slopes slightly into the loading area.

The motors, seen in close-up here, will control the movement of the cars as they approach the station.
Fast and Furious: Supercharged will close in 2027, ahead of the new coaster’s opening. The first version of Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift will open at Universal Studios Hollywood this year.
